Geological Education

I have been working on some fun Geological Education tools and information and have put some of them on my site but I figured I would lump them together under one banner - Geological Education. This section is to use different types of media and methods to expand the world's view of Geology and improve geological education.

Geological Movies

The part has been a member of my site for some time. It had it's own section but it fits in better here.

There are many bad geology movies out here.

Here I try to take the bad movies and relay what might and might not be geologically possible.

Geo Through Lit

The second part had some parts around the site before that I grouped together. It is for using classic literature (like the novels that I am reading over in the Literature Section) that briefly mentions a geological concept and expanding upon it to use that as an educational tool.

Geo Through Radio

This next part is using popular music and picking out geological concepts within them.

Out of The Box Geological Lessons

Over time I have come up with some innovative (I feel) ways of teaching science and geology.

This is the repository of some of those ideas.
